The IFO is pleased to convene a meeting of the Joint Equity Caucuses on June 26, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the IFO Office in St. Paul located at 490 Concordia Avenue, Suite 125, Saint Paul, MN 55103 (map).

This is the initial planning meeting to implement new IFO operating procedures (passed in April by the IFO Board) to form Faculty of Color, GLBTQ+ and Women’s Caucuses at each MinnState University campus to better represent the needs of these faculty. If you are faculty who identify as a woman, a person of color, or GLBTQ, you are invited and encouraged to attend.

The Statewide IFO Faculty of Color, GLBTQ+ and Women’s Caucuses will be leading this joint meeting with the purpose of advising, supporting and organizing the formation and/or continuation of caucuses at the campus level. The meeting will include sharing experiences, developing a collective vision for IFO equity caucuses, identifying faculty to join campus caucuses, and selecting from applications for a statewide Caucus Coordinator position. Ultimately, our goal is to empower marginalized faculty and improve working conditions for all faculty.
