The Inter Faculty Organization (IFO) is now accepting applications for the position of statewide Treasurer. The Treasurer will be appointed by the IFO Board of Directors during its first meeting of the academic year to serve a two-year term. If the person appointed is not a member of the IFO Executive Committee or Board, they will serve as an ex officio, non-voting member of the Executive Committee and Board. Applicants must be IFO members to qualify.
Treasurer duties include:
Oversee the development of a proposed budget, in consultation with the Executive Committee and the Treasurer’s Advisory Committee (a committee of the IFO Board), to be presented to the Board and to the Delegate Assembly;
Oversee disbursement of funds, maintenance of records of financial transactions, the monitoring of the collection of dues and other funds, the development and monitoring of an IFO investment policy, and other financial and business transactions as directed by the Board and with the assistance of IFO staff;
Convene meetings of the Treasurer’s Advisory Committee;
Provide a report at each Board meeting.
