Wellbeing Program Offers $70 Credit on 2022 Employee Deductible

The IFO joins with a coalition of labor unions representing state employees to bargain collectively for health insurance coverage. Our state health insurance plan includes a Wellbeing Program that provides a financial incentive to reward and support healthy habits at home and work.

The program provides a $70 credit towards an employee’s deductible for 2022 for those who participate.

To learn more about how to participate in the wellbeing program, click here to visit the state insurance (SEGIP) website.

Insurance eligible employees who collect 300 points and log the points into their account with the program vendor Virgin Pulse by October 31, 2021, will receive a $70 credit on their 2022 employee deductible. Employees receive points for completing health related activities from a list of options that include getting your annual physical, teeth cleaning or other preventive care (earn 75 points each for having completed two preventive care activities for a total of 150 points) or earn 50 points for exercising 10 times in a month. Employees can add 200 points to your account if you have been vaccinated and another 100 points by getting a flu shot. Employees may take the Health Assessment before October 31, 2021, to receive an additional 100 points. For a complete list of activities available for earning points, click here
