IFO Asks Faculty to Take Action and Defend DACA

Attorney General Jeff Sessions has announced that the Trump administration is rescinding the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. Over 800,000 people are covered under DACA. This program enables people to work, go to school, provide for their families, be protected from deportation and provides peace of mind. The President's order included a 6-month delay which will provide Congress a window to take action.

The clock is ticking and it's time for faculty to stand!

Please visit the IFO Advocacy Center to urge your Congressperson to take action and find a bipartisan solution to protect these valued members of our communities.
