2020-2021 MEMBER DUES

All faculty teaching more than three (3) semester credit hours or more than one (1) course during the academic year are part of the IFO bargaining unit.

PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS

Faculty with full-time (75% or more), year-long appointments will ordinarily have their dues or fair share fees deducted from their paychecks in 16 equal installments.  For most faculty, deductions will begin in September and end in April. For faculty with assignments less than 75% time, deductions will follow a schedule determined by the IFO.  Adjunct or community faculty dues will normally be deducted in three (3) equal installments.

You may also choose to pay your dues in one (1) lump sum by sending a check for the full amount for your base salary category.  Make the check payable to Inter Faculty Organization and send it to: Inter Faculty Organization, Attn: Membership, 490 Concordia Avenue, Suite 125, St. Paul, MN 55103.  In order to avoid complications with the state payroll process, lump sum payment checks must be received by the IFO office prior to August 30 for fall semester and January 10th for spring semester.  If you are unable to meet these deadlines, please email Donna Blake, IFO Membership Coordinator, to make other arrangements (blake@ifo.org).

RESIGNATION POLICY
Membership resignation requests must be provided by written notice and transmitted to the IFO State Office, by U.S. Mail, postmarked no earlier than April 1st and no later than June 15th, and shall be effective the following July 1st.

Resignation requests should be mailed to:

Inter Faculty Organization
Attn: Membership
490 Concordia Avenue, Suite 125
St. Paul, MN 55103.

For questions regarding membership resignation please email Alanna Galloway or 651-227-8442 ext. 16.
