IFO Statement on War in Gaza

The Inter Faculty Organization (IFO) Board is horrified at the unfolding genocide in Gaza, where violence has led to a devastating loss of life, injury, and the displacement of millions of civilians. The situation in Gaza represents a severe humanitarian crisis that requires urgent international intervention, including from the U.S. Government.

Action must be taken. Considering this, the IFO Board calls for the U.S. Government to demand an immediate ceasefire. We implore all parties to halt hostilities and work to secure a lasting peace through diplomacy and dialogue.

We urge our members to contact their U.S. Senators and Representatives and demand an end to the genocide, secure a ceasefire, and reevaluate the United States’ involvement in perpetuating the conflict. Through such actions, we advocate for a world where dialogue triumphs over violence, and where every individual can live in a free, just, and safe society.
