This online forum is for faculty to provide their input on the MinnState "Re-imagining the Future of Higher Education in Minnesota” initiative. In order to ensure a strong faculty voice, the IFO is constructing an independent set of faculty recommendations on the Future of Higher Education for presentation to the Chancellor.
Many of you will have much to say, and we want to hear it!
While all ideas and comments on the Future of Higher Education in Minnesota are welcome, here are questions guiding statewide discussions likely to get you thinking:
What trends are you seeing in higher education?
How do you see your campus addressing these trends?
What is being done on your campus to ensure/increase student success?
What could be done going forward to ensure/ increase student success?
What is being done on your campus to ensure/increase access, equity and the elimination of gaps?
What could be done going forward to ensure/ increase access, equity and the elimination of gaps?
What ideas do you have for greater financial sustainability of the state universities?
We are very interested in detailed examples (contact names welcome) that we can include as exemplars.
